Change your thoughts, change your business!
Sounds pretty simple right?! It is. Kinda. 🥴
Thoughts creation Action create Results create Motivation create Discipline - it's the circle of life.
The good news is, you're pretty much in complete control over your thoughts. Change your thoughts, change your life. The bad news is, the brain can be tricky, because one of it's main functions is to protect you - which is great when faced with actual danger, but it has a hard time differentiating between actual danger (skydiving) and "fake" danger like hopping on a discovery call or pitching to a potential client. #wecandohardthings
Here's how it works - when you think...
The market is oversaturated
There are no clients
I suck at discovery calls
I'm not worth $30 an hour
I don't know enough
Guess what - you don't take consistent action, which means you don't get results, which means you become unmotivated which then affirms your thoughts and you end up stuck exactly where you are.
Okay, let's change some of those thoughts!
There is room for me.
I find all the best clients!
I am confident on discovery calls!
I am worth $30 an hour, everyone can afford me, and people love to pay me!
I am totally capable and worthy, just as I am, right now.
Voila! These thoughts create massive (messy and imperfect) action - you're pitching, you're serving, you're networking, you're applying to job opps, you're following up - and the action creates the results which creates the motivation which creates the discipline so you can keep creating the results. Pretty cool how that works right? Change your thoughts, change your business.
So the next time you notice a negative thought - change it, pick a different thought! And if you can't make it all the way to positive (ie - I suck at selling to I am the world's greatest salesperson) get to NEUTRAL. (I sell) I promise you'll notice a HUGE difference in your actions and your results.
